The HMGH-II-E series harmonic reducer features a compact machine structure with an input shaft connected to the inner hole of the wave generator through an integral cam. It offers the flexibility of both rigid wheel end fixed and flexible wheel end output connection modes. Available in production specifications ranging from 14 to 40, this series is ideal for applications in aerospace, robotics, semiconductors, power inspection, and automation equipment.
The harmonic gear drive, invented by American inventor C.W. Musser in 1955, utilizes the elastic deformation of flexible working components for movement and power transmission. By breaking through traditional rigid component transmission modes, this drive achieves unique functions difficult to replicate with other methods. The deformation process of the flexible component is symmetrical and harmonic, hence the name "harmonic drive."
The deceleration principle of harmonic gear transmission involves the controlled elastic deformation of the flexwheel, rigid wheel, and wave generator to achieve motion and power transmission. Through the rotation of the elliptic CAM in the wave generator, the flexwheel deforms, enabling continuous changes in tooth engagement states for efficient movement transmission.
