The HMCG-II-E series harmonic reducer features an input shaft connected to the wave generator inner hole through a cross slider coupling. It is suitable for rigid wheel end fixed and flexible wheel end output connection modes. Available in production specifications ranging from 14 to 40 across the full series, it is commonly used in high precision fields such as aerospace, robotics, semiconductors, power inspection, and automation equipment.
Invented by C.W. Musser in 1955, the harmonic gear drive utilizes the elastic deformation of flexible components for movement and power transmission. This innovative transmission mode breaks through traditional rigid component transmissions, offering unique functions difficult to achieve with other drives.
The deceleration principle of harmonic gear transmission involves the controlled elastic deformation of the flexwheel, rigid wheel, and wave generator to achieve motion and power transmission. Through the rotation of the elliptic CAM in the wave generator, the flexwheel constantly deforms, enabling active wave generator to flexwheel movement transmission.
