HMCG-II-E Series Harmonic Reducer

 

The HMCG-II-E series harmonic reducer utilizes an input shaft connected to the wave generator inner hole through a cross slider coupling. It is commonly used with rigid wheel end fixed and flexible wheel end output connection modes. Available in production specifications ranging from 14 to 40 across the full series. Mainly used in high precision fields such as aerospace, robotics, semiconductors, power inspection, and automation equipment.

 

Principle of Harmonic Gear Transmission

 

The harmonic gear drive, invented by C.W.Musser in 1955, uses the elastic deformation of flexible components for movement and power transmission. It breaks through traditional rigid component transmission, offering unique functions. The deformation process of the flexible component is symmetrical and named harmonic drive.

 

Harmonic Deceleration Principle

 

The deceleration principle of harmonic gear transmission involves the controlled elastic deformation of the flexwheel, rigid wheel, and wave generator for motion and power transmission. The flexwheel deforms as it engages and disengages with the rigid wheel teeth, achieving active wave generator to flexwheel movement transmission.
