The HMCG-II-E series harmonic reducer features an innovative design utilizing an input shaft connected to the wave generator inner hole through a cross slider coupling. It is compatible with both rigid wheel end fixed and flexible wheel end output connection modes. Available in production specifications ranging from 14 to 40 across the full series, this harmonic reducer is ideal for high precision applications in aerospace, robotics, semiconductors, power inspection, and automation equipment.
The harmonic gear drive, invented by C.W. Musser in 1955, revolutionizes transmission with the elastic deformation of flexible components for movement and power transmission. By utilizing flexible components, this transmission achieves unique functions not possible with traditional rigid component transmissions.
The deceleration principle of harmonic gear transmission involves the controlled elastic deformation of the flexwheel to achieve motion and power transmission. Through the rotation of the elliptic CAM in the wave generator, the flexwheel deforms to enable continuous movement transmission from the wave generator to the flexwheel.
