The HMCG-II-E series harmonic reducer by Suzhou Yijiaang Automation Technology Co., Ltd utilizes an input shaft connected to the wave generator inner hole through a cross slider coupling. It is commonly used with rigid wheel end fixed and flexible wheel end output connection modes. Principle of Harmonic Gear Transmission

 

The harmonic gear drive, invented by C.W. Musser in 1955, uses the elastic deformation of flexible components for movement and power transmission. This breakthrough in mechanical transmission achieves special functions difficult to obtain with other drives. The deformation process of the flexible component is symmetrical and harmonic, hence the name "harmonic drive."

 

Harmonic Deceleration Principle

 

The deceleration principle of harmonic gear transmission involves the controllable elastic deformation of the flexwheel, rigid wheel, and wave generator to achieve motion and power transmission. The rotation of the elliptic CAM in the wave generator causes the flexwheel to deform, leading to a series of motions that result in active wave generator to flexwheel movement transmission.
