The HMGH-II-E series harmonic reducer features a compact machine structure with an input shaft connected to the inner hole of the wave generator through an integral cam. It offers the flexibility of both rigid wheel end fixed and flexible wheel end output connection modes. Available in production specifications ranging from 14 to 40, this series is ideal for applications in aerospace, robotics, semiconductors, power inspection, and automation equipment.
The harmonic gear drive, invented by C.W. Musser in 1955, utilizes the elastic deformation of flexible components for movement and power transmission. By breaking away from traditional rigid component transmission, this drive achieves unique functions difficult to replicate. The symmetrical harmonic deformation process of the flexible component gives rise to its name, also known as a waveform drive or flexible wheel drive in various countries.
The deceleration principle of harmonic gear transmission involves the controlled elastic deformation of the flexwheel, rigid wheel, and wave generator to achieve motion and power transmission. Through the rotation of the elliptic CAM in the wave generator, the flexwheel undergoes deformation, resulting in a continuous change in motion states to facilitate active wave generator to flexwheel movement transmission.
