The HMCG-II-E series harmonic reducer is a high-precision transmission component designed for use in aerospace, robotics, semiconductors, power inspection, and automation equipment. It features an input shaft connected to the wave generator inner hole through a cross slider coupling, allowing for rigid wheel end fixed and flexible wheel end output connection modes. Available in production specifications ranging from 14 to 40 across the full series.
The harmonic gear drive, invented by C.W. Musser in 1955, utilizes the elastic deformation of flexible components for movement and power transmission. This breakthrough transmission mode offers unique functions difficult to achieve with other drives, making it ideal for various industries.
The deceleration principle of harmonic gear transmission involves the controlled elastic deformation of the flexwheel, rigid wheel, and wave generator to achieve motion and power transmission. Through the continuous deformation of the flexwheel teeth and engagement with the rigid wheel teeth, active wave generator to flexwheel movement transmission is achieved.
